Moody mood

My child loved, I mean LOVED this whale. Now I am toying with the idea of making him one. I am in such a slump, I have not made anything for this child since he was born. I am working on a cardigan, but I feel blah about it. I need a creative kick in the ass. I need a pattern that is quick and simple. I don't even want to get started on making stuff for Christmas!

hello lover!

This is my altar, This was an old china hutch that my mother gave me. What is this an altar to? I dunno! I just like religious stuff. I was inspired by the Voodoo altars of New Orleans. I even keep my uncles ashes in there (between the tall candle and the tarot deck on the second seld left hand side) Yup thats Uncle Stanley.

This is my knitting chair, I purchased this and Ikea, I love this chair, and the knitting basket on the right also came from Ikea, I LOVE THIS CHAIR!My Grandmother embroidered this peacock more than 60 years ago!

I started this pinwheel about 6 months ago! I don't remember what yarn I used, but it is 100% cotton, and it is super super soft! I dunno if i should stash this away or gift it? what do you think?

And here is my Gothic pinwheel, it got put on the back burner when i found the other unfinished pinwheel. But I have Tons of black yarn....and nothing but time to finish this!
Here is my Buddha head that's Lavender on the right and a rose bush on the left and the view from my Kitchen. These sit right next to my Altar, so i sit at my kitchen table and reflect, remind myself to breath, and to be present and to APPRECIATE! No pictures please! That's the elusive me

The Bell Jar- Ok if your a woman and havnt read this book yet, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU! This book changed my life. It really enlightend me to how far as women we have come and how far we have to go!

No One Belongs Here More Than You-Ok I am a slow reader I mean SLOW people. But I read this book in like 2 days YOU HAVE TO READ THIS. IT IS A MUST! This book blew my mind!

I am afraid I have no knitting pics. I cast on the Gothic pinwheel baby blanket, but yet i slacked in taking pics.

My life is in a trillion places. I can't concentrate, nor keep track of anything. Everything keeps piling up, and I can't get out. So i shall share with you one of my favorite movies ALPHAVILLE.

ALPHAVILLE

I just love this movie. It is everything from Sci-Fi to a love Story to a Political sprinkled with great vintage Parisian fashion fashion, and beautiful statement. It is crazy over the top film, symbolism.

If you haven't seen this film yet...you should! Like all my fav movies this was based on a series of books, with the main character being Lemmy Caution. I am looking for the series, email me if you know where to get them.

umm lets see 4! then once I saw this, the goth in me screamed with delight!
I knew I had to make it. Did I go and buy 4lbs of red and black red heart super cheapo super saver yarn. You betcha! Lately I have been making super cute baby stuff. But now its time to make something a little on the goth side! Hopefully i will cast on tonight and work on it all weekend.

I also won some superfanfreakintastical silk yarn from http://stores.ebay.com/Indian-Silks_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm. Honestly this is some of THE coolest yarn I have ever used. How can you not make a super comfy, and todali(yes i know i spelled that wrong its a running joke) pretty shrug? I couldnt resist!
